About the Artist:

Combining a vivid imagination with an urge to create, Eve-Marie Lanza began writing whimsical short stories in elementary school. To date, she has self-published two short story collections, over fifteen anthologies of poetry, a blook documenting her recent experience, |

and several full-length novellas, including Cold Stone Silence, which is excerpted here. Eve-Marie currently has several other projects still under development, including a poetry anthology, a graphic novella, and an autobiographical book based on her intense journey to the Bar Exam during the Summer of 2005.
In addition to writing, Eve-Marie also enjoys reading, drawing, painting, digital rendering, web design, and sculpture. Her current art project, Sees More, combines all of these mediums in one exhibit. (Selected works are included here.)
Eve-Marie has also explored multimedia projects in recent years. In addition to this portfolio website, Eve-Marie has run blogs as interactive art experiences, created zines, and has created several videos available for viewing. Eve-Marie also released her first EP of self-produced electronica music in 2003. Since then, she has released four more EPs and a Greatest Hits album.

"For me, creative energy is life energy. The powers of expression and ideas are central to my personality. There's no other endeavor I've found that channels those powers, energizes me, and has the potential to heal, explore, and connect people, the way that art does."
