About: Church Circle is in the center of the town. It stands as a symbol of the town founders' dedication to religion. The subject of the center interests me because each church stands in its own magnificence, and yet each church is also in the shadows of the other churches. The center is also interesting in that it shows the strength of tolerance among religions, that groups of different religions can come to the same area to worship in the way they choose. And yet, it also contains a subtext of conformism, in that each church is Protestant Christian, and churches of different denominations and architectural styles are visibly lacking.
