Track Listing/Liner notes:

Voracious For You (previously unreleased) The first few songs encompass the interests and genres I am inspired to pursue. I like the roughness of this song - it's gritty but still groove-oriented.

War (Losing My Mind) (previously unreleased) A moody moment in the mind of a soldier. I chose to use a pounding bass line as the "explosion" at the end of the song to heighten the sense of a reality break in the soldier's mind as it clouds with rage and erupts.

Every Morning a Test (previously unreleased) I want without desire. I hope without dreams. I control and I submit. I am willing and bound, tethered and free. I look for answers without asking questions; finding them in waste. I am waiting to set fire to my self.

Jungle Nights (previously unreleased) The first song I ever created with my new software. Obviously rough and super-short, but contains some themes that emerge in later songs. I posted this song to my artist space on acidplanet.com and actually received a few positive reviews!

Mellow Mile (from THE LAST THING YOU DIDN'T SAY) The "crystal-y" loop in this song was actually used in the very first song I ever created many years ago, using a demo version of this software on my laptop! I love this song for its "happy accident" quality: It just wasn't coming together during composition, so I experimented with speeding up the tempo, and came up with something I really liked!

Whatever Happened to the Dancing Kid? (from RING) A song from my most recent relationship concept album. Whatever happened to the kid down the street that used to dance all the time, full of joy? Was it 1000 voices that made him stop dancing? Why doesn't anyone notice the tragedy?

Do You See Me? (from I BECAME YOU YOU BECAME BLIND) A song from my first relationship concept album. I loved the synth lines in this song so much that I used them in the song "Ghosts" on my next album.

Ghosts (from THE LAST THING YOU DIDN'T SAY) The "ghosts" of synth lines past…

At the Party (from WHO'S CALLING?) What makes you feel alien at this spinning intergalactic party?

Walk With Me (from ROLLING THROUGH STARS) First track off my first CD. I love this drum 'n' bass track, but nobody else does!

Tied to the Chair (from I BECAME YOU YOU BECAME BLIND) You struggle to break free, but when you do, you stay seated and wait to be tied up again.

The Divorcee (from THE LAST THING YOU DIDN'T SAY) Now that the man walks away, she hears the song in her heart again. She floats on air as she dances. But then the mirror stops her. Fingers to face, thin paper with fine creases, crumpled and discarded. The girl is gone - now who am I? But then she sees her handsome divorce lawyer, and that song begins to play again. Perhaps I'm not gone after all.

Bring the Sunset (from RING) My first instrumental track, using an Asian instrument called a yangchin. No more than two instruments play at any time; this is a dialogue between two lovers.

Watch Your Chaos (from WHO'S CALLING) An avant-garde, experimental song. Without rules, the song is free to wander at will through a variety of expressions.

Your Emergency Has Just Begun (from RING) This song contains the first-ever sample of my own voice!

Ghosts (EMC's Mellow Fire Remix) (previously unreleased) My first remix track. Notice those familiar synth lines!

Out on a Date (EMC's Bad Blind Remix) (previously unreleased) I extracted the gauchin instrumental loop from the original and sonically decimated it. Contrast the real explosions at the end of this song with the bass-line "explosion" of "War" earlier. Is the "bomb" of a bad date more "real" than the bomb of battle?

Happy to Be Here (from ROLLING THROUGH STARS) The storyline tracks a relationship from its exuberant beginnings, to its bittersweet finale. I dedicate this song to Donovan.
